Genius Introduces 5 Megapixel Hi-def Camcorder
Genius has introduced its latest high definition 5.0 megapixel camcoder - the G-Shot HD55.
This CMOS camcorder records at 30 fps/1280 x 720 pixels and uses high-compression H.264 format, that allows it to record still images and movies using less memory, which can be seen on high-resolution flat-panel TVs using the video cable. It also comes with a 2X digital zoom to enlarge pictures.
"This offering is part of strategy to focus on our consumer electronics business. We as a company and world class product provider have recognized the thin dividing line between IT and consumer electronics. The digital lifestyle products would cater to the growing segment of convergence between IT and electronic goods and we are poised to provide state-of-the-art products to our consumers in India," informed Mr. Sandeep Ramani, Country Manager, OBM Sales Division, KYE Systems
The G-Shot HD55 has a 3.0-inch TFT LCD color display that is adjustable and can capture still images up to 8 mega pixel resolution by software interpolation. It also supports a high capacity SD up to 4GB so one gets much more recording time. It also has LED light for dark environments.
